Murton Parish Council would like to inform you that contacting the Parish Clerk by e-mail clerk@Murton.org.uk or carrying out work on behalf of Murton Parish Council may result in you supplying personal information to the Parish Council.

Your personal data will be kept in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Murton Parish Council will not pass your personal data to any other individual or organisation.  This includes those personal details submitted to the Parish Council for inclusion in the Murton Parish Council electronic mailing list.

It should be noted under the Financial Regulations administrative processes essential to the function of Murton Parish Council, that some personal information is required to be minuted and available in the public domain. Further information can be found here:

Civility & Respect Pledge

At its meeting on 7 November 2022 the Parish Council agreed to adopt a Civility and Respect Pledge  aimed at minimising bullying and harassment.
